Welcome to Arc. This Privacy Policy describes how Arc ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, processes, and shares your information. By using our mobile application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Zero Tolerance UGC Policy IMPORTANT

Arc is a community-driven platform. To maintain a safe environment, we enforce a Zero-Tolerance Policy regarding objectionable User-Generated Content (UGC):

• Strictly Prohibited: Users may NOT upload or share content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, violent, promotes self-harm, contains hate speech, or involves bullying/harassment of any kind.
• Instant Removal: Any content found violating these terms will be removed immediately by our automated filters or moderation team without prior warning.
• Account Termination: Repeated or severe violations of our safety guidelines will result in a permanent ban of the user's account and device ID.

2. Safety Tools & Reporting

We provide users with robust tools to protect themselves and the community:

• Report Feature: Every video and comment in the app includes a "Report" button. Users are required to report any content that violates our policies.
• Reporting Reasons: You can specify the reason for reporting (e.g., Spam, Harassment, Hate Speech, etc.) to help our team take swift action.
• 24-Hour Review: Our moderation team reviews all reported content within 24 hours of submission.
• Blocking Users: You can Block any user at any time from their profile. Blocking prevents their content from appearing in your feed and restricts all mutual interactions.

3. Information We Collect

• Registration Data: Name, email, phone number, profile image, gender, and date of birth.
• Content Data: Videos, thumbnails, descriptions, and comments created by you.
• Location Data: Approximate or precise location information derived from your IP address or GPS.
• Technical Data: IP address, device model, operating system, and crash reports.
• Media Access: We only access the specific gallery files you select for upload.

4. Location Information

ARC requests access to your device's location to provide a personalized and secure experience:

• Community Connection: To connect you with your local community. By granting this permission, your videos can reach people living near you, and you will see trending content from your area.
• Local Talent Discovery: To recommend popular creators and celebrities trending in your specific region, helping you stay connected with local stars.
• Account Security: Most importantly, it enhances your account security by recording login and registration details. This allows us to verify your identity and provides you with accurate data on exactly where your account is being accessed, helping to prevent unauthorized usage.

5. Data Deletion & The 30-Day Policy

You have the absolute right to delete your account and data:

• In-App: Go to Profile > Side Menu (3-lines) > Delete Account.
• Web: Request deletion via our Data Deletion Portal.

Grace Period: Once a deletion request is submitted, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time, your profile is hidden from the public. If you do not log back into the app within 30 days, all your data will be permanently purged from our servers.

6. Child Safety

Arc is restricted to users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we identify an underage user, the account will be terminated immediately.

7. Third-Party Services & Creator Partner Program

We use trusted industry-standard services to enhance your experience and support our community:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, database management, and hosting.
• Google Cloud Vision API: For automated moderation. We scan uploaded thumbnails and images to detect and block prohibited content automatically.
• Advertising & Creator Support: We use Google AdMob and Start.io to display ads, which helps keep our services free for viewers. To support our community, a portion of the revenue generated from these ads is shared with eligible content creators through our Partner Program. These rewards are based on content performance and are intended to encourage original creativity. We do not provide any incentives or financial rewards to general users for viewing or interacting with advertisements.

We never sell or trade your personal data to any third parties.
